Hello there! You have stumbled across the blog of 17 year old A level student Amber Reed, I love nothing more than putting pen to paper and spending embarrassingly large sums of money on unneeded clothes. I am based in rainy Somerset and although I aspire to live in London I am a westcountry girl deep down, which in itself comes with a habit for long blustery walks and a fancy for rolling countryside.  My dream is to be a published novelist and until I reach that point I plan (fingers crossed) to spend my time studying other peoples books. Ever since a young age I have a had a passion for writing, however my teenage years have also bought a love of fashion, baking, photography and film, some of which I hope to document here alongside general life posts and healthy eating routines.

I am a huge fan of all things fantasy and fiction, my perfect evening would be settling down with a cup of tea in front of our log fire with my nose buried in a book. Through books I have been able to live as an 18th century woman scouting for a husband, an adventurer exploring the realms of Peru and even a solider fighting for peace in the second world war. I spent a good part of my childhood acting out imaginary worlds with my sister, which influenced my love of dressing up, in turn sparking an addiction for fashion and beauty. My style is a little bit quirky, a little bit drag queen and can range from sturdy pair of Docs to frilly, sparkly dresses, all of which are interesting (although I'll admit are also sometimes an eyesore).

This little blog will act as an inner sanctuary for my passion for baking, books and a very empty bank account. Hope you enjoy!
